Founded in July, 1999, The Charleston Advisor publishes detailed product reviews of proprietary and freely available web-based resources for the library market. Reviewed product types include databases, pricing tools, scholarly journals, and collections. More than 800 searchable expert reviews, peer-reviewed by the library community, are currently available to help optimize library services.

The Royal Society is the United Kingdom’s academy of sciences and has been publishing journals dating back to 1665.
