Each consortia signs their own Agreement. This agreement is a framework originally negotiated by COPPUL on behalf of ConCan members. Consortia may already have an existing OVID license and prefer to add JBI onto that Agreement. With a new 3 year term beginning in 2022, the intention is to revisit the license during the term of the agreement.

1.14.7 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, nothing shall in any way restrict or limit the ability for Authorized Users to engage in or conduct any activity that is otherwise permitted under Canadian copyright laws, including without limitation pursuant to any fair dealing exceptions.
