Founded in July, 1999, The Charleston Advisor publishes detailed product reviews of proprietary and freely available web-based resources for the library market. Reviewed product types include databases, pricing tools, scholarly journals, and collections. More than 800 searchable expert reviews, peer-reviewed by the library community, are currently available to help optimize library services. 

Annual Reviews recently acquired The Charleston Advisor this past June, 2022. As a publisher of reviews with a mission to synthesize and integrate knowledge, we saw The Charleston Advisor as a great fit for our organization. The Charleston Advisor will continue to be available via IngentaConnect at the following URL, http://charlestonco.com.
